This Pope Benedict XVI doll was made by  Mary O'Neill in February 2013. The doll stands 60  cm tall. The doll outfit made out of vintage fabrics. Used old  plastic doll. Doll is  marked.

Our anticipated new magazine - New Zealand Doll and Toy Chronicle

Our magazine Hawke’s Bay Doll and Toy chronicle will no longer be published. We are looking forward to publishing the first issue of our new magazine called New Zealand Doll and Toy chronicle by the end of this year. Our magazine aims to provide its readers with information on New Zealand Doll and Toy Histories. We welcome questions and stories from readers. The Hanbok king and queen wedding dolls arrived to our museum



Genuine handmade Hanbok (South Korea) king and queen wedding dolls arrived yesterday  to the Mary O'Neill Doll Museum. These large dolls stand nearly 1 meter high and were made in the early 1950s. Mary O'Neill Doll Museum

Japanese Nishi Bride doll on music box early 1950s

This is a  Japanese Nishi Geisha doll in bridal kimono with stand  and a music box. The doll is protected in its own plastic display case. The doll is dressed in silk and made in the early 1950s. The doll  stands 15 cm high. This is a wind up doll that   plays music while doll spins around. Mary O'Neill Doll Museum.

10th Wedding Anniversary

10th Wedding Anniversary  Thomas O'Neill and Mary O'Neill
The wedding took place at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Palmerson North on the 9th of February 2003.   Roman Catholic priest Father Brian Walsh was the celebrant.
